The map reminds me a bit of *Smash TV* or *Space Monastery*, where you move through a maze-like layout while fighting waves of enemies.

I think the map could benefit from a few more textures and some simple details, such as adding a button to unlock the next floor instead of transitioning automatically.

One thing I noticed is that the floor transitions seem to be random, right? In one of my runs, two transitions spawned in the same location, allowing me to go from floor X directly to X-2, completely skipping X-1. Maybe it would be better to prevent two transitions from appearing in the same spot. Or simply unlock the next floor only after all enemies have been defeated (although in that case, the map should provide enough ammunition).

while it isn't fullbright, it is still just a primitive maze of identical rooms with the same four types of monsters inside. there's no real substance to it beyond rushing to the exit door.
displaying the name of whoever reaches the end being displayed is probably the only thing of actual note in this entire map.
in my view this doesn't quite meet the bare minimum threshold for quality, especially so going by the standards for quality from the old forums.

most thing of note is whenever someone reaches the end it types the "winner's name" to everyone as the map ends
i dont know if this map "meets a bare minimum quality threshold." but i think these days the rule isnt much of a problem with how infrequent people post these kinds of maps

2 and 3 are adressed, spam between the soda cans until you hear button clicks 5 times, this will competely skip all intro and let you choose difficulty and forces at whim
all important keycards and key items all spawn back in about 2 minutes, if it doesnt then its not important
storymode should be able to just explain things, as the scientist voice over kind of tutors you, theres a tutorial, but the map is overwhelming so you need to put a lot more hours to beat it consistently

The first screenshot looks very familiar… I think I played this map earlier this year on the Brazilian HLDM server. I remember enjoying it, but I never finished it because I got stuck around that part.

If I remember correctly, a passage opens at the back, and if you don't get through it in time, it never opens again.

I discovered it yesterday and played with 3 other players (Survival mode). The concept is very nice and the idea to be coordinated with reflexion and the importance for each class is very nice. Especially because the spawn and the items are each time different.

However, more explanation is needed in the game (how weapons, items works, the classes, the administation part choice etc…) The possibility to skip the entrance area would be nice and maybe a better balance in some areas could be considered.

I have to precise that when I died at one point, my items were in the water and it was impossible to pick up again. Maybe a fix to be sure that the items are always recoverable would be better.

You never really know what's going on inside a mapper's mind!

I thought this map was a delightfully crazy experience. I never imagined I'd get to play a map inspired by M. C. Escher's Relativity. I'll definitely give it another playthrough, because I have the feeling I may have missed a few things.

I played the v1b version and also ran into problems with the secret elevator in the bathroom. There were three of us, and I ended up getting crushed by the elevator. Besides that one, I found two or three other elevators that can crush players, including one that rotates.

There was also a confusing section where we entered a room through the vent in the floor, but it seemed like an invisible wall was blocking the way. Eventually, one of the players figured out that the shelf above could be broken, which allowed us to continue.

P.S: The mapper must really love Van Gogh!

There is a problem with the info_teleport_destinations for the npcs. 2 npcs can get stuck while being teleported at the same time and then its a snowball effect after that and 100 npcs get stuck in the air. This probably happens because its just one single destination. Might want to add more destinations and set the teleports with "random destination" flag

I tested the map today and really enjoyed it!

I found it quite difficult to play solo and couldn't get much further than the second or third wave. However, once two more players joined, it became much more manageable. The upgrade system also helped a lot.

The other players enjoyed the map as well, we all had a great time!

P.S.: The only downside I noticed is that players often get stuck in the doors (planks)

would be neat if after final upgrade it would show as such, i really thought i could upgrade the base further with 4500 points
also thought the game would start throwing more gonomes or bulls or more enemies that shoot back at you but its still a lot of zombies
maybe hardmode?

I really enjoyed the map. It's well made, and I think it has the potential to be even better with a few improvements.

I was going to mention the respawn bug behind the barricade, but I noticed it's already a known issue. I spent quite a while looking for the last enemy because I thought the map had broken.

I also think the enemy waves could be a bit larger, perhaps with more enemies or higher HP. It also seemed like the difficulty doesn't change based on the number of players. I think following a *Left Life* map-style approach would work well: more players → more enemies.

Another improvement I'd like to suggest is making the map a bit more interactive. It would be fun to climb onto some buildings, get on top of cars, and explore the environment…

I really liked the remake idea, but it's a shame the project was abandoned. It was looking great and was very well made!

I wasn't completely sure about the final door. Since there's no texture behind the vent, I couldn't tell if I was doing it the intended way. It seems like it was designed for co-op, with players entering from above.

If the project were ever resumed, I'd suggest adding a box or chair to make the climb more obvious, as well as adding a texture behind the grate. But since the map was abandoned, I guess that's unlikely.
