This is a great series, ideal for up to 3 players since there isn’t much ammo.

Sometimes a bug occurs in map one: the explosives can’t be picked up, and I have no idea how to reproduce it…

Nice weapons, the map is a bit too easy and the survival mode turns off after you die.

The campagn itself is good, nice architecture and level design although a bit repetitive, but for me the main problem is the balance. I played it with one other player and the campaign was really too easy, at the end we had to be careful but was a very short moment. There are problems too with non-aligned textures, especially for the cliffs in many parts.

The single-player mod is a really nice albeit short mod. But this conversion was way too easy. And we were only two playing it in survival mode. Except for one or two exceptions, there wasn’t any challenge and to me, who already played the mod, it became a bit boring. I think the difficulty should be increased, probably with more enemies and less ammunition.

So, I got this map. Expected something good, and I got it. Problem is, I'm not going to continue due to the fact that idk where the textures are. And if nobody will help me, then i'm stuck wondering. So if someone can help me figure out this missing texture problem, then I will play this map.

This is a solid 10/10 conversion.
The fact it uses custom guns and not the awful default ones with equally awful sounds, already give it a point boost. Plus you can feel your guns can kill enemies. Took a while till getting the assault rifle, but alone with the pistol was enough to clear out my way. Also helped the case enemies weren't high HP bullet sponges to "give you challenge" like how newbie or even veteran mappers wish to do. They posed reasonable threat according to their position in the tier list. I felt the human grunts were kind of persistent tho, like they were almost the hardest to defeat, at some cases felt they just consume my bullets without loosing HP. Nothing terrible anyway, still could get rid of em with just a bit of tacticool work.
The mapping is topnotch, high quality, just the thing you'd expect from a Half-life mod/map. The ice themed monsters is a nice touch just enough modification to make them different from your average XEN refugee.

Also I pretty much beat it alone without dying even once, there were close calls but always could briefly retreat to replenish ammo, health & armor, since these maps gives you plenty of opportunity, even if it was 3 more people everyone could have enough. I assume map is survival compatible, I didn't tired it cause I hate that shet(thus disabled on my server). But this map probably could work quite well with survival mod.

Great merge to make it into 2 maps. It's a short one, much like to the original mod, but loving the use of new weapons.
