Currently the thumbnails are still using the old screenshot ID system, not the new galleries. In the new system, the thumbnails are automatically be the alphabetically first image listed in a map's file list. You can change which image is listed first by renaming it (stick a "0" in front), and it should go to the top. This image will now be the thumbnail used throughout the site.

I haven't updated the map lists to use this new technique, but it should be ready soon.

The whole ID system is not going to be used anymore. Screenshots are just regular files now. If you really want to find a screenshot based on the old ID system, go to http://scmapdb.wikidot.com/screenshot:207 or whatever ID you're looking for.

After everything is in order, I'll write some clearly explained documentation.

About the map overviews.

  • sv_cheats 1
  • dev_overview 2
  • remove the green (photoshop directions below)
    • enhance > adjust color > replace color

You may want to hide your hud by putting "nosuit" in the maps cfg, manually erasing in in photoshop if possible, or download some blank hud sprites.

But I don't know how to find the screenshot's ID.

Also, how do I take overview screenshots? I know how to upload them.

Help would be appreciated.
