SC Map DB builds off of the L4D Map DB's stylesheet. This means layout and the main stuff is identical, while things like colors/logos/etc are overriden. Since the loading animation wasn't overridden, L4D's showed up (we didn't have one to replace it). JPolito might make a SC loading image, but for now I replaced it with a generic one. If your browser or connection has a hiccup, the SC stylesheet might not load and then L4D stuff comes through. The solution (easy) is to have both sites share a simple base stylesheet and then override it with their own customizations.
Not sure if there will be another DB or what it would be, although I did already claim a few domains on wikidot (sc2mapdb, tf2mapdb, cssmapdb, mapdb (home for the mapdb network)). Expanding to other games is possible, but it would be too much for me to do alone. I'd need someone really trustworthy to be in charge of that division of the MapDB—or at least a couple of dedicated helpers who can add lots of content, promote the site, get it off its feet, and keep it active and current.
