Great looking map. I'm looking forward to play it.

The repacker found a few missing files. Any chance you got these?

Hello,

Thanks but don't have high expectations. It was a one-man job and a side project. Think of it like a troll but enjoyable map.

For the missing files, as can be seen they are related to ww2projekt (https://github.com/KernCore91/WW2Projekt-for-Sven-Co-op). There is nothing I can do because the archive I gathered also does not have these files. But I don't think that they are important.

You're going to want to remove the 6 player requirement. That'll significantly limit the playability of this map. Most Sven servers don't hit 6 simultaneous players anymore. And the few that do usually have so many it lags the map out or crashes it.

The hard requirement can be removed, it is trivial. The bad part is that without at least 6 players the map is going to be very hard to play. Maybe I can remove some grunts, I don't know.

Removing the monsters would also break synchronization with the background tracks too, this is something I don't want.

By the way I'm not even sure if the 6 player requirement works at all, I could not test it. I used a new feature of Sven-Coop to implement (dmg key of game_player_counter) it, but I'm not sure if it works. If it does not work, the map will never start.

You can edit the BSP file with hex editor and lower trigger_condition from 6 to 2. Or if you are the server admin you can try "trigger ep1_start" / "trigger ep2_start". But the map will be hard to play.

I plan to lower 6 player requirements to 4 or 2 in the next version.

Could have been really epic, turned out to be frustrating. The screenshots show lovely, bright, well-lit maps, however the reality is they are far too dark far too often so you're always running out of flashlight or being killed by invisible enemies operating in darkness where they have perfect hitscan fire but you can't see shit. I got sick and tired of having to "scope" every mm of map looking for monsterinfo.
Real shame.
The windmill "puzzle" (if that's what it's meant to be, rather than just a mapping error) is again, frustratingly poor in design and execution, I had to backtrack the entities to figure out what was required.
Finally the "you have 30 seconds to get to the evac zone" - where the fuck is that? Clue? Cutscene? Nope, you just die. Nice.
I think it is fair to call those parts "troll map". Not really inspired to go much further.

Also there is no option to skip the long cutscenes. Like all long cutscenes, it's interesting exactly one time only, after that it's pure tedium.

Having failed to find the evac zone, I was killed and the transition broke, I was stuck in some brown zone not able to see anything. Not good.

Thanks for the feedback, maybe if I find enough time later or if someone else helps with the design I can improve the map accordingly.

For the windmill I thought the users would figure it out after seeing the large grenade sign and the up arrows. For the brightness, it looks actually very good on my monitor, which has 350 nits brightness, and Gamma 2.2, though I might admit most laptop screens are more like 200 nits so maybe that's an issue.

This map is actually designed to be a "troll" map. I wanted to make the players laugh about it during play, and no epic gameplay was intended to be provided. There is a troll server in the EU that we often play together, I was going to make the map exclusive to it, but I decided that someone else might want to play as well, so I uploaded here.

Still, I think that the map should be fun enough considering the time I spent on it which is less than 75 hours.

Worst sven-coop map I've ever played.

I know sven-coop maps have a reputation for being overly-clunky which is how most of them get its entertainment factor from, but this one was by far the most tedious one out of them all.
To get one thing out of the way, the map/puzzle design is horrible. I was playing with a friend and we pretty much had to noclip the first 2 puzzles to find out the way and even then it took an aching 20 minutes. Not only that, but the autistic enemy spam across the maps just make this map hilarious, along with the turrets. I made it to the Glasgew, Glasgow or whatever the hell it's called in Chapter 2 after that horrible tank puzzle+ enemy spam to find out that its another "find out yourself" chapter with no guide or hint of progression and respawning enemies, I thought that was the end of the chapter that had some sort of infinite loop of enemies you shoot but my friend mentioned there was another chapter, I just quit right there.. I had a migraine. It wasn't even a good clunky experience, and I'm putting effort into writing this review because this map looks like it tried to have some good effort put into it with the whole Downfall cutscene reenactment, but after that it's just a depressing programmed FPS shooter with terrible music, puzzles and map design that should've stayed locked away in the dev's draft bin forever.
