There are over 1583 maps for Sven Co-op! Here are a few:

Attempted to play through this twice with my buddy and each time we'd end up opening the blast door which connects the circle back around to the spawn garage, but would be stuck from there. After lots of confusion, we noclipped and saw that there were three doors we were stuck on: one which leads abruptly into a dark hallway, a blast door which leads to a cargo elevator, and there is a door which appears to need a scientist which leads to a walkway through the canyon.
After looking up videos online, it's clear something's broken. There's supposed to be screen message text at the scientist door which did not show up in either of our playthroughs. Apparently a necessary door did not open (the blast door in the lobby area which leads to the cargo elevator) despite our pressing every button we can see being pressed in playthrough videos. I suspect there may be some broken triggers in this map.
This was next on our list of maps to review, but it felt unfair to review a broken map which has clear evidence of having recently been completable, likely only being broken by a typically short-sighted Sven Co-op update. Now it's on our list of maps to revisit once it isn't broken.
Can you confirm you played the fixed version? It's the current one you can download from here.
Sorry for the late response. Indeed, I was playing the version available for download the same day I posted the comment.
I checked and the map seems to be working just fine, perhaps you missed something. There are buttons that are pretty camouflaged with the environment like the elevator, and the security booths that have consoles.
On the other hand, the map may need some issues fixed like the fact that the scientists could get telefragged and lose the map, and their HP is too low. Also the fact that you need to get them to the last door is missing since the map ends without them being there, you can just take only one with you to open the door and beat the map without protecting the scientists.
Yeah after redownloading the map I'm calling the the door not opening bug a client error on our part not finding the button. After rechecking we found that the issue is that you have to press the button *multiple times* to make the door open(?) We just restarted the map multiple times and that's the best we can find to consistently get that button to open the door. So it's not just camouflaged, it's wonky in all sorts of ways.
The scientists will drop down the cargo and he cant escape the room , map stuck.
Although you take out all of scientist to the important button , scientist still doesn't act and the door won't open , map stuck.
BAD MAP
can confirm the map is broken. So sad, I remember it was good. Now unplayable, as kalo explains, scientists may 90% sure get stuck when falling from an edge (and of course npcs cant climb up to the teleport)
This could be fixed easily by author but when things are as old as half life 1, there is not much chance of seeing that.
Fixed the scientist with a monsterclip. Tests went fine and the bastard doesn't fall and trap himself any longer. The map can now be played again fully :)
What a great map :) Looks fantastic, sweet game play… it's quite a challenge keeping all 3 scientists alive but happens very nicely with a tightly co-operating team.
Love this map along with a selection of others by the same author. 5 stars tbh.
Thanks,
Adam Reece.
