Description

You are part of the special marine forces of the United Nations sent out to destroy a terrorist base that was found by recon. You will move in and take the base by surprise. Go in and kill all enemy personnel in the proximity. We have strange reports from our agents within the complex of strange "creatures" that terrorist experiments have created set to destroy the world. When you get inside, meet up with our agents and destroy any and all of these "creatures" you encounter.

GENERIC FIXES

• Used the original maps as a base to ripent the .ent through import, bypassing the version mismatch errors in the maps ripented by newbspguy's current bug that the ripents of other people are having due to copy pasting brushes. Checked for errors and the maps work fine without version mismatch on servers.
• Changed some env_messages to game_text
• Changed env_model to item_generic
• Changed monstermakers into squadmakers, with proper translated spawnflags
• Fixed squadmakers without spawnflags or missing spawnflags, to have proper spawnflags
• Changed info_player_start to info_player_deathmatch
• Changed env_beam's negative StrikeTime value, to positive values (this could've caused crashes due to overflows)
• Changed env_xenmakers that were spawning monsters, into squadmakers with proper external xenmaker entity
• Replaced some of the Wayne's models that were identical to default (hwgrunt and hwgrunt_ld) with some other of the default custom hwgrunt models
• Removed Wayne's missing soundlist files references in maps, and .gmr and .gsr as well
• Gave many alien monsters spawned through squadmakers, a properly colored xenmaker effect
• Replaced item_security and brush based item collectibles, with item_inventory
• Used Wayne's ripents as a base. His guide arrows and wrong way signs have been replaced with more immersive things like lights, props, breakables with hud displaynames, enemies, etc… Except in maps that have a theme where it would be plausible to have direction signs.
• Enemies with humongous amounts of health have been toned down a lot
• Maps with low ammo at start have now extra weapons and ammo at spawn
• game_text messages have been tweaked to be less intrusive, away from the crosshair, indicating the character name that speaks if intended, and sometimes giving them proper color that indicates ally or enemy.
• Typos in game_texts and displaynames have been fixed. Usage of "\n" (new lines) in displaynames has been abolished
• Fixed typos on entities making them not recognizable by the game
• Fixed netnames when intended to be used as displaynames on old maps. Now you can see those npcs true names!
• Regenerated .res files
• Repacked with missing files into a .zip using resguy

• Replaced one of the mp5 at spawn with m16
• All squadmakers that spawned weapons with start flag on are now just weapon entities
• Added lip to doors, and damage to rotating doors
• Moved monsters stuck in the air
• Added sounds to the tank firiing and turret firing
• Added sounds to the tank fire after it explodes
• Made the pillbox with turret and truck destructible instead of having the annoying turret firing at you forever until you push the button on the other side of the map
• Added sounds to doors
• Fixed the door that had glass so it looks fine. Made it stay open as well.
• All doors have the monsters cant flag now
• Fixed door 119 z fighting
• Made the gman room enterable. Fixed position of the egon, and made the npcs inside react

Fun map, but really blue.

A middling walkthrough map. Boxy rooms where you shoot monsters, so pretty par-for-the-course for a Sven map, and everything's pretty reasonably fun to fight through (with the possible exception of a certain turret).

Man, is it ever BLUE, though.

Did you press all three buttons? There are two red/green buttons, one at either end of the final office area, then the control room opens (near the button after the mounted gun) - once you have killed the grunts and Barnabus in the control room, the third button is on the 'radio' on the wooden booth where Baranbus stood. The final boss room opens then, the weapons are behind the rock stalagmites.

Worked ok when I checked it just now.
