Description
You wake up and find yourself trapped within a giant Aztec temple complex, full of puzzles and deadly traps.
As you and your fellow "inmates" make your way through the temple, you notice that there is more to it than it initially appeared.
Suddenly you find yourself confronted with unexpected enemies and need to fight your way back out.
Additional info
HINTS:
- Always keep your eyes open for short-cuts that become available, once you finished certain parts of the map.
- New spawn points are unlocked throughout your way to reduce "walking distances".
- This map is played in two phases: "forward" (you will notice when you reached "the end") and then "backwards" to where you initially started.
Known issues / requirements
- This map requires AT LEAST TWO PLAYERS to complete
- Some of the mechanics in the puzzles are a little "buggy" (i.e. they might not always work as expected). We hope you though enjoy playing!
- The map takes about 20 minutes to complete

We played this last night on the public server with around 11 people. It's a fun map and I really enjoyed the Portal areas.
It didn't get finished and a change level got voted due to there not being enough spawn location changes. I'll add the teleport plugin for this map and give it another run.
I also messaged you on Discord if you're interested to see it play on the server with everyone.
I really like this map, it’s full of puzzles! The first part made me feel like I was playing Secret City Saga. There are also some Portal-like elements, right?
The only issue for me is that I usually play solo, even co-op maps. This map really requires co-op, so I wasn’t able to fully enjoy the “portal” area. I’d suggest increasing the delay in some parts.
Anyway, great job! I’ll keep this map on my server!
PS: It would be great some button to reset the box position! The first part I pull too much and lost it… I was save by teleport!
Hey, that's awesome. Thank you so much for your reply. I am really glad you enjoyed the map.
And yes - the second part of the map is Portal ;-) - an "Easter Egg", I did not want to disclose in the screenshots/description.
Please allow me a question: do you have a public server? (what's its name/IP)
Regarding your P.S. ("The first part I pull too much and lost it… I was save by teleport") - do you remember where that was / what had happened? I tried to prevent all "soft locks" in the puzzles (i.e. even without resetting the boxes, there should always be a possibility to solve the puzzles, but yes, generally two people are required…) - but perhaps I missed something somewhere.
Cheers!
Hi, Sunnyalex!
My suggestion comes from the fact that I usually play co-op maps solo, but I don’t think there’s much to change, increasing the delay might ruin your design, and it’s already great as it is. Co-op is definitely the right way to play it!
In the first “Portal Area”, I pushed the box too far while holding the door open, which wouldn’t happen in co-op. In the second part, players might also misuse the boxes, so maybe a reset option could help, I think there’s something like that in the fourth map of Black Mesa Nightmare (http://scmapdb.wikidot.com/map:black-mesa-nightmare). The only concern is that some players might abuse it, so maybe a vote system like “reset box positions?” could work.
Anyway, it’s fun as it is! My server is still in testing (“[BR] Mau Sven Co-op Server”), so you might experience some lag

Aztec can now be downloaded.
I hope you guys will enjoy it. Would love to see it on a public server one day.
