Description
Walkthrough map where you siege a castle with respawning rat grunts. I recommend 4 or more players, and to stick together!
The Rat Kingdom of the Red and Gold Banner have stolen all of the cheese of the land, leaving none for The Rat Kingdom of the
Blue and Silver Banner. There is only one solution to such a problem: the Red and Gold Banner's king must die.
Your mission is simple:
-Get behind the castle
-Break the chains to enter the back gate
-Destroy the cheese stashes in the castle
-Kill the king
In that order.
Additional info
A fair warning: though I tried to optimize, this map has some flaws that will drop frames on some computers. I will try to address this more radically in version 2.
TIPS:
-Enemy rats will spawn until you complete your mission.
-Once inside the castle, the front gate can be opened by destroying the barricade.
-All of the action in the castle is happening on the upper floors. Don't stay on the ground level.
Additional credits

-Pizza_Shark for the medieval art
-The Textures Resource, Models Resource, and Sounds Resource for respective assets

I won't give a final opinion yet because I haven't finished the map! I read your warning, and I must admit that I experienced some performance issues. My PC isn't exactly top-of-the-line, but it usually handles most games just fine.
That said, your map is great! I really like the models, the castle, and everything else. The atmosphere is fantastic, and the level of detail is impressive.
I'll keep playing until the end and then come back with my final thoughts!
19 fps on ryzen 7 7700 while looking at the castle, only have to kill couple of grunts to make sure you arent being disracted from either destroing gates, cheese or the king
