Description
A map of great adventure and fun!

The exit door at the arena battle does not open after the battle is over. map is softlocked. There is a sound coming from it only once, like it tried to activate but didn't move. I had to trigger it manually with cheats.

That's strange and makes me sad. It never occurred to me.
The door is triggered "on death" of the alien_tor.
Would you happen to have any suggestions on how to make it fail safe?
I checked the map and I see the problem. Tor spawns twice, triggering the door on and off again.
First of all I'd play it safe and make the door stay open on the first try with wait time -1 ("wait" "-1"). That should fix it, very simple.
Then if you want you could either make Tor spawn only once ("monstercount" "1" instead of "2"), or the more complex way would be to add a game_counter that triggers the door, and change the tor death triggers so they trigger the counter. The counter should have 2 health of course if there are 2 tors.
I'm close to tears - no of course not. But I have to admit that it does bother me, because I thought this time I had tested the map enough. I played it alone, with 2 people and with 6 people. Multiple times. Never this happened, but I guess it was because we always went through the exit door after the first Tor died and before the second had died…
Anyways.
I checked the door. It is already set to "delay before close" = "-1".
I assume it still gets the "command to close" after the second Tor dies.
I want to fix it. My choice is to have only one Tor spawn.
Since you're around here much longer - what would you recommend in this situation:
1) fix the bug, leave the rest unchanged, save the map with same file-name and replace the upload here? -> people who have downloaded it already will have a "different map with same filename" issue when connecting to a server.

Changing the name is never the option. That is mostly used for when you are completely remaking the map that it looks like a new one. Only when making big changes to brushes and such you have to recompile the map. If not, if you are just changing point entities, the best way is to ripent the map using bspguy or something similar. Ripenting does not change the map's version (the version mismatch error you mention), and that is how people usually fix the maps. This fix is very easy, if you don't know how to use bspguy or ripent, I or any other ripent fixer could fix it for you super quick, give Tor only one spawn and thats it.
Mistakes like this even if this small, are important in fixing them right away since they are called "softlocks" and break the map completely. Fixing it quick will help prevent more people from downloading the broken version.

you can choose to test and use that or change it yourself with ripent and delete my file later.
Be sure to ping the Server Ops and Map Showcase chats in the Sven discord so they know when you update your map, so people redownload it and everyone has the same version, mostly. This goes for any kind of update, ripent or recompile.

fixed the download link and renamed the svencoop folder to svencoop_addon since it's recomended to install your map there to avoid changing original game files and etc
