Description
You arrive on a dark island in search of a lost ship. You must find it to complete your mission, and to find it, you must brave pests, Dryads, Evils, Scabs and WhereDidIComeFrom's. Speak with the island to find out where the ship is. To get to the bottom of the island, you must first go to the top.
Additional info
- 6-10 players recommended.
- The stick with the glowy thing on the end of it is a wizard staff OK?! Use your imagination people!
- New areas are opened by finding artifacts or killing bosses. If a monster has more than 100 health you better make sure you kill it before you go looking for a new area.

There are over 1589 maps for Sven Co-op! Here are a few:

I enjoyed this map! It has some mysterious island vibes, that are really good!
But sometimes I just wanted to sit on a sandy beach and wait for somebody to rescue me… (because i don't know where should i go)
Not having a projectile weapon against projectile weapon enemies is intensely frustrating.
The map is well built, everything works in it, it looks very pretty and is fairly complex in its layout and construction
BUT
It's a hugely annoying maze / object hunt, and that's all. Ok there is some combat from infinite respawners (and some finite spawning boss monsters) but the bulk of the map comprises of:
"Here is some random thing that you found. Something has happened somewhere in the map. Trawl the entire thing again, pixel by pixel, until you find it.."
and obscure 'clues', e.g.
"You found Pirate Pete's left-handed wizzle-picker. Now talk to the Fairy lettuce-eater and find the silver breeze amongst the ferns.."
that sort of thing - yeah, good luck with that. So you need infinite patience, and the will to believe that nipper isn't pointing and laughing at you from within some admin room at the summit, which is how the whole map feels.
- If you can't get started, run along the shorefront at the harbour spawn (North entrance?) until you get to the fence - look carefully on the sand by the fence, there is a small white note to be used. This is a common model/theme, watch out for it continuously.
Also, right next to that same entrance is a square of differently shaded sand.. maybe if you find something to dig with first?
Also the monster HPs are pretty ridiculous (for the larger ones) until you defeat the wizard and steal his giant lolly (oh - it's meant to be a wand or something? lol, k then..) and then you can dish out huge hornet damage and even up the odds.
Whenever you are stuck, backtracking is the best bet - holes open where none were before, in the side walls of tunnels, on huge rocks where they have no business appearing - that sort of thing.
Last hint - the bloody Captain's key is in some LONG GRASS below a ledge that you get fired off of - many zombies amble about there; don't be distracted by them.
Note - If the palm trees on the beach are huge and horizontal, then whoever installed the map did a piss-poor job - those are of the wrong palmtree.mdl; the map's ones work properly.
Characters frome the LOST on this map are the best :D
I played it with JPolito, Turrican, CryoKeen and others. The difficutly is somewhat higher than it should be because of the raping nature of Gonomes and Bullsquids in Sven Co-op 4, but that's not the fault of the mapper. Still an excellent map.
Played this a few days ago with El Gringo and G.BallBlue. It was fantastic. Definitely in my top ten list of maps. There's so much to do and explore throughout the entire map.
I'm not sure why I never got around to playing this in the past, but it looks pretty epic.
It definitely is. The reason I made this article was because I realized that most of the 4.0B1 servers didn't even have this map, and the people who downloaded it from other servers without a .res file would crash because they lacked a T model. I had hoped to rectify that by adding it here, as I was surprised it wasn't here already. In fact, none of NIPPER's maps were here.
HOLY SHITBALLS, REALLY!? Mate, you've seriously missed out .. it's a fantastic map :) very well designed.
It gets complicated if you haven't played it before (easy to get lost etc) but it's still a nice adventure.
Thanks,
Adam Reece.
I do wonder if the map was inspired by Heart of Darkness by Joseph Conrad. The first time I saw it while in-game immediately reminded me of it.
