Description
Seven Hours War + 2 days
The combine already took all over the world. Human Scientists developed a new type of weapon to counter-attack. This weapon was called Devian". After Devian became active, it fleed away destroying everything it sees. It doesn't recognize Human or Combine.
Mission Objectives:
- Search and Destroy Devian.
- Kill the Combines in the area.
Other Notes:
- Vortigaunts are Friendly in this map.
- You cannot equip Akimbo Uzis

- Followed by The Ladder Maze 2 (abandoned) (considering the map's former name was "The Ladder Maze").
- This is Shattered Heart Lynx's First Sven Co-op Map

A map with weird *_skl.cfg… Shotgun kills everything like its noone else's business, Apache that kills you in 1 shot w/o armor. Snipers that have 0.25 seconds to pinpoint their accuracy to you, and so on..
And ofcourse, i have to address this.. If you have ONE osprey or apache on the map DO NOT hardcode its health values into entity, instead leave its health to be configurable by the said *_skl.cfg.
I honestly dont understand this logic, you already knew that apache's health can be changed via CFG. Why hardcode it ?
Anyways.. all it took me, is to remove "health" "30000" key/value pair from the entity properties, and then i simply specified its health to 5000 in *_skl.cfg. Stuff like this just baffles me.
Wow, smashing map for a first release! BUT..
…a 30,000HP Apache? Seriously? vs 1xRPG and 1xSniper Rifle… :/
A good map if you have, oh, about a full week uninterrupted, to shoot at a helicopter!
Someone can delete the image overview?
It looks extremely ugly and I can't remove it.
