Description

A community map project based on Doom. Gameplay is about exploration, cooperation, puzzle solving, secrets, and collecting orbs.
Collect all orbs to open the exit door.

Additional info

Some of the orbs are hard to find, but as a hint there are at least 3 in the spawn area and right outside

• Fixed yet again the blue keycard elevator, removed it from the map start triggers causing it to work in reverse

• Fixed dual buttons for doors near the green keycard

• Replaced brush keycards with the custom model keycard from this map

• Moved the demonic keycard to another place and in its place its the red keycard
• The red keycard will open a new door now
• Brush keycards are now just used as the hint for the doors that need them
• Restored some doors that were used in the wrong places. They are still useless doors but they are were they belonged now.
• Added a couple more doors, nothing fancy.
• Fixed the starting area zombies and triggers and moved the entities. This is where the unused doors were supposed to be.

• Previous version had a merging error that made the map not render after a certain point
• Re-fixed and re-merged the maps
• Re-raded the maps again
• Fixed some doors a bit more
• Removed the embedded textures and merged all of them plus the other wads from doomfest into the new doomfest.wad (therefore doomtex.wad was removed)
• Regenerated res file
• Repacked as zip

+ Merged v1 - Jan 16, 2025 (by Garompa)

• Used doomfest7juice.bsp as a base, and merged it with doomfest_zergeant_4_23_2013.bsp for the extra rooms that were not present
• Fixed teleports, doors, buttons softlocking the map. Everything was broken.
• Fixed music shuffle
• Fixed doors not having sounds
• Fixed orb counts
• Fixed buttons that didn't have sounds, and many were shootable only breaking the map
• Fixed broken momentary doors and rot buttons, sadly, these were badly compiled and the button wouldnt rotate no matter what, so it was turned into a common rot_button instead along with the door
• Connected the map to other areas with teleports, that weren't being used or the paths were not mapped properly
• Added more weapons in secret places, and ammo
• Fixed keycards that were duped, moved them and connected doors to them
• Fixed camera flags and added some more for objective completions
• Fixed .gmr, .gsr and .cfg (mostly removed playermodel forcing and adjusted the weapons given)
• Added more custom models for .gmr and more sounds to .gsr
• Re-Radded the map to fix lighting
• Turned func_detail to func_wall as it was not being rendered ingame
• Moved some of the orbs to interesting places
• Moved some brushes and doors that were not being used
• Fixed squadmakers that were not being triggered
• Replaced xenmakers with squadmakers with the xenmaker effect
• Added more teleports
• Added more enemies
• Added fixed counters for orbs and more orbs to be found (most were just missing) in a lazy way (packs of orbs!)
• Added teleport sprites to many teleports (might have missed some)
• Changed sounds to .ogg
• Recovered missing files
• Replaced some sounds that could not be recovered with their default counterparts
• Merged external model files
• Regenerated .res file
• Repacked into a zip
