Description
For thousands of years, the Ichthyosaurs flourished in a Hidden Paradise.. until a small group of lost soldiers discovered them, and of course, did what man did best.. Have fun..
This map is based around the original 'Fishing' by Kune. Thanks to him for his co-operation and for the original .rmf file.
Additional info
2-4 players recommended.
Hints
- If you haven't yet noticed it, there is a hidden area behind the waterfall with the infinately useful crossbow
- Once both doors are opened, you can access a button inside each that when pressed at the same time, open up the level exit.
- If you can get up inside the cliff cave(pretty much impossible w/o cheating) then there might be a nice surprise for you, especially if a certain button is pushed at the same time.
Additional credits
Kune - (Made the original Fishing)
Destroyer - (Rubber boat prefab)

I've tried almost every combination of every button press possible with only two players, but the second door (the one on the right in the primary image) simply refuses to open. So how does one open it? Do all three buttons need to be pressed simultaneously?
And yes, I know about the "secret" button under the dock.
Back in 2000 it didn't really matter if maps had a point or not. As long as it had some sort of gimmick people would play it, whether it involved hunting Ichthyosaurs or blasting zombies with a stationary laser weapon. Take the map spacemonkeys as a perfect example of this, an utterly pointless map yet somehow it still managed to get included in the official release. Unfortunately that map doesn't have a section here, but it basically consisted of a single room with a respawning grunt, and a teleporter that led you outside of the room (into space) and gibbed you.
What is the point of these maps?
