Description
Deep within the high rising dunes of the mojave desert lies a secretive research installation. A government lab dedicated to the research of creatures wrenched from the clutches of parallel realities.
One month ago an Unidentified Flying object was sighted near the facility, crashing into the desert sands. Representatives from an online UFO conspiracy group arrived quickly to examine the site, never to be heard from again. Their disappearance was a final straw for many fringe members of the group. Suiting up, you and your tinfoil hat wearing allies arrive to discover the truth that the government has desperately hidden away from humanity for so long.

This is my first map, just a bunch of random ideas and tests to have fun with hammer. So don't really take it all that seriously, and please, if you have anything to say about it contact me whenever you can. Criticism or just ideas in general, I'd like to hear it. Sort of worried about having included the proper texture wads, so if you see any missing textures say it right away so I can fix that.

I didn't spot any mapping sins (10k health enemies, not enough equipment, etc.), but there wasn't much going on to keep this interesting either. I'd like to see the world come alive more, if that makes sense. For instance, that room with the disc thing looked cool but nothing ended up happening there. There could have been monsters flying out of the disc or busting through walls or something. Maybe some laser beams shooting out randomly and poking holes in things. Any challenges with player physics would be good too - even something as simple as jumping over a gap or avoiding some moving objects.
Reasonable attempt for your first map and good work getting started.
But there are some issues.
1. Missing textures due to tan.wad not being included:
Error: 'tan' not found, missing textures will appear as black/purple checkered squares.

2. You included some unnecessary files in the zip:
Every wad file except for tan.wad, quake2.wad, armytruck.wad
Every file in the maps folder except for the bsp and res files
3. Probably worth having a cfg file so you could just give start weapons rather than laying out at the spawn.
4. Add a lip on your doors so the dont clip with the walls.
