Description
July the fourteenth, 1883:
Being rather rudely awakened after a night of drunken revelry; Half-Rats is thrust into a rather dire situation. Utter calamity has erupted in the streets outside of the general store which he calls home - calamity of the most unnatural and horrific kind, that is. Now he and the shop keeper, Mr. Trask, must hold out against this infernal host of creatures together. Will they survive the night?
The first in the "Half-Rats" series. The game begins at the general store where you and Mr. Trask, your landlord and shop-keep must make a stand against a great horror whose origins will only be revealed at the close of this story. Though it is a general store, that does not mean it boasts unlimited resources…supplies and manpower will begin to run thin - and you'll need to face hell to go out and gather them. You may end up meeting a fresh face or two during the night's journey - try and keep them alive and kicking, yeah? Some of them could become great assets.

As dark (lighting-wise) and annoying as it was, it was still pretty damn unique. Porting that over to Sven would make it an awesome campaign.
While some parts would require scripting (like weapons and some NPCs), the crux of the scripting part would be the inventory system, which actually wouldn't be as bad as it sounds.
Medkits (equipment) would replace the meat pies and dried meat for healing.
Whiskey can just be made spawnable batteries.
Money would require a script to have a global wallet though, unless you want to use Sven's Inventory to make it personal.
And cocaine (god mode) was just needed because the mod was singleplayer and unbalanced at times. Wouldn't be required in Sven.
Removing Half-Rat's voice lines would also be great as it never added to the experience and just took away from it.
I don’t mind small edits for things I may have overlooked, like the headcrab gorilla sounds in the .gsr file which I appreciate, but this is much more than a fix.
To simply grab my ported maps, merge them together, make small script and cfg edits, making other significant, undocumented changes like Barnaby being able to control the turret in the end of the series or adjusting assassin damage without detailing them in the changelog, and then call it a “fix” and post it right under my nose without contacting me first is really rude and disrespectful.
In the future, please contact me if you want to discuss changes about the port. If you want to release your own major edit of the mod, create your own separate release page and provide accurate and complete logs. Do not post edits on other people’s pages and call them a “fix”. It’s disrespectful to the original mappers and porters’ effort.
EDIT: Regarding the note on the page that states: "⚠️ Community edits are recommended due to bug fixes"
Can the fixer care to explain what bug fixes they are referring to that would justify this recommendation, when the primary changes were grabbing my maps and merging them?

It was already past 10 pm on my side when it was released. I wanted to finish quickly and go to bed, and I hope you can understand.
'Barnaby can control the turret' is caused by the game engine, not something I changed
I played the original mod and later this port.
While the mod is lackluster, this port is worse as it has stared at obvious issues but has done nothing to improve it for co-op player.
For example, one map has you start, listen to a 2 minute dialogue before the locked door opens and you can continue. In the singleplayer mod, you can just save after the dialogue , but here? On Survival Mode when you die, the map restarts and you have to listen to that 2 minute dialogue all over again. Die a few more times and now you are so frustrated that there is no reason to play anymore as the mod itself is pretty mediocre and not worth it.
Finally someone ported this map onto Sven co-op
