Description
Four important scientists have been kidnapped by aliens and are being held in a secret base underneath an abandoned church.
You have to go in and get them before the military boys can do their own brand of "rescue".
Fortunately the aliens have installed a teleport that can be used to get the scientists out. Lead them into the teleport room and they SHOULD do the rest.

…because of the stupid way that the Scientist's prison kills them. Then the annoying patronizing ending message, after the map stupidly killed them - gg, mapper..
It should have been so easy to fix - slightly bigger cage, and a monsterclip :/
Clearly there was 0.00% testing; the fail ending totally destroys the fun of an otherwise excellent map. Very similar to sc_apprehension, that had a similarly terrible Scientist-rescue mechanic which was an equal failure due to bad design and no testing.
Easy fix for the hostages would be like the monsterclip like you mentioned.
They would be set up just inside the func_doors keeping the scientists away from them when they lower. When the doors fully lower they may toggle/killtarget the monsterclip allowing the scientists to be free.
Because of how simple this fix is, one would think a fix would have been done a while ago… apparently not.
Many things have changed since the early 2000s. The map was fairly okay in 3.0 and IIRC even flawless in 2.1. Over 15 years of AI and pathing changes takes its toll on edge case maps like this.
Love this map for its wicked shootouts and level design, hate it because the hostages' cage keeps crushing them to death!
