Description

Between them Gordon Freeman and the trigger happy military have managed to destroy most of Black Mesa. With the computers gone the secret of teleportation rests only in the minds of a few scientists being held hostage by the aliens. Intelligence reports have located the aliens hide out in an old underground base.

Your job is to enter the base and search for the scientists so you can 'rescue' them. Be warned - the military are after the same prize as you.

• 3-6 players recommended.
• After Kenny added Part Two, Hostage 2 was moved to the Best of Map Showcase.
• Map included in Sven Co-op 3.0, Sven Co-op 2.1, Sven Co-op 2.0F, and Sven Co-op 2.0B mod releases.
• Preceded by Hostage.
• Ranked #22 in the Creepsworld Top50 maps list.

Changelog

Since these versions, any changes have just been minor tweaks for Sven Co-op releases.

Fixes part A:

• Cover added in first outside area and cave.

Fixes Part B:

• Retextured outside area and took a load of concrete textures away in the tunnel.
• New ammo room near spawn.
• Monsters at start now keep going until you blow up the barrels.

+ Beta 1

• Added Hostage2b. The version of Hostage2a is bug fixed and shortened (with a secret added) and now leads into Hostage2b.
