Description
This is a walktrough map, Guns are limited and scarce. you need to solve a main puzzle to move forward on the map.
Forget about killing the enemies as you spot them, this time you will have to escape from them.
Important Note (Version 2)
If you have already played Version 1, be sure to delete the waypoints located in "Sven Co-op\svencoop\maps\graphs" lostmaze.nod and lostmaze.nrp. Before running Version 2

Tips
- Statues can only be destroy with explosives (C4, handgrenades, etc.)
- Some ammo/items can only be grabbed by pressing 'E' (+use)
- Most ammo doesn't respawn, so think twice before firing a bullet
- If you get stuck in the elevator, press 'L' or put in the console 'stuck'

I'm working in a 2nd Version of this map fixing a lot of stuff, making new areas, new final and making more easy some parts. If you like something to change, or to add, delete or if you just have some ideas to add to this map let me know, I'm working on it. Regards everyone

This map is cool, but the tedium really kills it.
You have to blow up the statues with satchels, but the satchels take ~5 minutes to respawn.
The first boss has 6000 HP and all you have access to is a crossbow with 5 bolts, your fists, and the satchels which take ~5 minutes to respawn.
The second boss has 10000 HP and the only additional weapon you have access to is an SMG with 60 bullets and a shotgun with like 8 rounds, neither of which respawn, so then you just have to hit it with your fists or the ~5 minute satchels and die a hundred times in the process.
This map would be a lot more enjoyable if players were equipped more appropriately, or if the existing weapons just respawned at a normal rate. I feel like I'm trying to beat these bosses with a dirty look. It's completely ineffective.
So I guess you can just "skip" the bosses and make your way downstairs and unlock the armory. It's a bit annoying having them running around while you're trying to do stuff though.
And the briefing says 2-5 players suggested, but I'm pretty sure 2 players are required to get one of the keys.
its clear that this map is lacking in balance in every way possible and doesnt help the new player understand what to do next.
I may put it in my list to fix these things if I ever get to it, and upload as an alternate download, but since its pretty new and the mapper may still be around to change things I'll see if I can contact him first (but dont get your hopes up).

Taken from the map cfg:
nomedkit = anti-coop, has almost no place in SC. Apparently being able to heal and revive your comrades is "cheating", according to the mapper. This and the chronic and dismal unbalancing against players (including reducing maxspeed from 270 to 260 so that monsters eat you) makes it feel almost like a troll map, which is a great shame because the design is good and it COULD be quite fun to play under different circumstances. So I doubt the mapper will want to help you with your naughty "cheating", you should just die 10000 times like you're meant to, and like it that way. Or ripent it. Like I did! :D
If you already have a ripented version that fixes all that is wrong with the map, maybe share it and add it as alternate download? (actually maybe just replace the main link because ugh)
Hi Guys, I'm the mapper overhere! And this map as said in this comments is not in any way to troll anyone, It is just hard and maybe too Hard for new players (but with no intention), but hey I really worked on this map to try to do something different, I will explain everything you are complaining about, The thing is I posted this map 1 year ago and I only recieve like 5 comments on the forum and only 1 on this page so It's really hard to make the map better with the no feedback of the players, I really I want to make right.

To destroy the statues on the 1st maze you need 2 satchel for each one, there are 4 satchels all over the 1st maze for you to find, so if you just found 1 satchel and you just camp it out within 60 seconds you will have like 4 satchels and you can destroy the 2 statues easily and easily pass to the 2nd maze. The idea is that you in those 5 minutes of waiting for the satchel to spawn you find the others, that is why they take it so long to spawn, it is not to troll you , it's because otherwise it will be to easy.

The bosses not supposed to be kill till the last stage (once you blown up the 3 statues), they spawn once you progress the maze on the 50%, so they are there to bother you and put pressure to the search of the satchels.

There is a Medkit in a hidden area, but this one is pretty easy to find, 2 boxes next to each other, one is label "FRAGILE" easily can be detonate it with a satchel, this medkit is crucial I know, not suposse to put it on a Hidden area maybe, but if you are playing with friends and you find the medkit you can heal the whole team and pass it to a teammate to heal you. Also in the 2nd maze if you save Dr. Kleiner from the cage and take him out of the maze, He will provide you a medkit for the whole team on the base. (I know that one is pretty hard to get it done, cause of the monsters on the 2nd maze) but please dont say that I delete the medkit from the game, it is there and it can be found.

Take in count that monsters in the 1st maze are just zombies, so with a lot of guns they will be so easy to take them out, the 1st boss "Tor" if you look close the only attack he does is the melee one, and he run slower, so that gives the balance to boss vs player. On the 2nd maze the attack of the "Kingpin" with the laser is pretty low damage and the idea is you to escape with the longjump.
I know that I done this very complicated, once again I try to make some different from the existing map pool, and well this come out, so I really want to fix all these things but without losing the essence of the map, I really aprecciate all your comments, not the one you said you ripent it and either the one "replace the main link because ugh" you should have a little respect about the mapper, and the time I took to make this map done. But hey! I know these helps me out to make it better, so thanks! Actually since few months ago I'm already working on a Second version of this map, Making new areas, and solve a lots of issues with fps, making a new final, etc.

I had a problem trying to progress in this map. I do not know what it is you have to do after the first door opens just as you start the map.
So I used cheats to get me around and try to understand what was going on, what the triggers were and in which order. Seems that it all begins with finding a key to unlock the crowbar… key which isn't anywhere to be seen. Maybe too hard to find? I noclipped the whole map and didnt find it.

You need to pay attetion to what is write on the fountain, that's the puzzle.
I highly recommend to play at least 2 players so it won't be so hard and will have more chance to figure out what have to be done.

yes but without explosives the statues are immune to anything…
There you go… try to walk through the maze to find something useful, without noclip xD (triggers may not work with it)
I know there is a satchel charge, and a crossbow. But you cant destroy one statue with those either. :S I guess, if nobody is claiming they cant progress then the map must be working as intended and its just the silly me thats bad at it lol

The statues can be destroyed with satchels, and the house key is in a filing cabinet in the underground section (which opens after breaking the third statue). I still don't know what to do after getting the crowbar, but you can open a secret area and release the scientist with it.
