An 18-hole Minigolf course with one team as Balls (Blue) and the other team as
Golfers (Red). This map is similar to Mini-Golf 2, and includes seventeen orig-
inal holes, and one hole based on a hole Avatar-X made for Mini-Golf2. This map
also features a new method of identifying who's ball is who's, as they all have
a uniquely colored spinning arrow above their head.
Something new I'm also including are mini-mods of this map. In this case, there
are two versions included with the map. Standard, and Bot play mods. The
bsp currently is modded for standard play, where the balls can move a little on
their own. The Bot play mod reduces the balls ability to move to almost zero.
To use the mini-mods, you need ripent.exe by Zoner. The file can be found at:

Once you get this file and place it in your tfc/maps directory, you can run
the batch files included with the map to change mods.

Fixed balls being able to move normally in 5.23 (thanks to Captain Scarlet for the updated script).
So many good maps from TFC days, this was definitely up there.

Depends how you mean bad.
From my memory (over 10 years ago) the ball behaviour is rather identical here, with the only difference being on this port the ball players have a saw to push away abusive golfers. In TFC you had to live with it!

This should fix golf ball physics when there are more than a few players in the server (balls were sluggish and not bouncing off walls). Also added a golf club model from Spess, and a few small changes.
i want To play HDN in sven coop
0 interest in porting that. Although I was trying to make a final fantasy map a while back. Maybe that + anime models would be close enough.
I hope you can make a "ball" playermodel, when a player becomes a ball, his playermodel will use the "ball" playermodel.
Also can you make "Golf club" model to replace the original pipe wrench?
The player models make it more fun imo. I like the idea of a golf club model though. There's one in Uboa Rampage II but the arms need replacing.
I do like this map's game play, but I usually be alone, I hope it can spawn a NPC to be a ball then I can play it in single player.
Maybe "friendly headcrab" ??
Maybe in a future version. The physics for monsters/bots don't work quite the same as real players.
This idea is brilliant and it works way better than I expected it to. Nominate this when half the server is AFK. Motionless players make good golf balls.
