Description

This is a walkthrough map series full of soldiers and aliens in small maps and tight areas. Nevertheless it can be entertaining to play once in a lifetime. Gameplay time could be fast due to the small maps, but it also depends on player count as some areas have lots of monsters to deal with for just one or two players alone.

Additional info

The maps seem to be part of a half-life single player mod that cannot be found anywhere else. The first map monster.bsp or monster1.bsp (if it ever existed) is not included. Nothing else is known about this mappack. Only that the mapper is russian.

Made a few fixes:

• Fixed spawnpoints
• Deleted singleplayer landmarks
• Fixed secondary spawnpoints
• Fixed train ride in monster5.bsp
• Added level change sprites to map endings
• Fixed Garg scripted sequences in monster7.bsp (map can now be finished!!)
• Added missing file selena.wav (was nowhere to be found, so I took a wild guess due to the name of the file and the date of the map's release)
• Fixed some texts
• Added spawn point change texts
• Fixed annoying monster spam in monster6.bsp
• Fixed elevator ending in monster6.bsp (map can now be finished!!)
• Changed weapon_rpg to item_rpgclip when crate is destroyed in monster7.bsp, so players are forced to pick up the rpg at the corner instead, and trigger the events accordingly
• Changed the name of the only friendly soldier to "Private Dok", as a homage to the mapper so his memory is not lost forever.

All maps were merged into one, using seamless teleports where possible.

I have fixed the maps and are now playable. Please refer to the changelog to see what happened if you want to. Anyways give these maps a try!
