ofboot4 was rebuilt by Soctom and no longer crashes. Other fixes were not made.
You could ask permission to use the Opposing Force Coop project as a reference.
OOOooooOOh, you could replace the rope part with ladders and wooden logs from the previous part, lol it would still work
something like a fake rope that acts as a ladder, in the second part a parkour of logs or something similar that are supported by fake ropes
Tested today 'OF Boot Camp' maps, but map ofboot4 crashes in general the sc client/server.
There is a flaw in the BSP data for this map, making it crash in multiplayer. The only known fix would be to recreate it from scratch.
also need Backport OP4 rope system for Single player only
OH i remember that one. Many years ago the devs were asked to do it and iirc they actually just couldn't do it. The code for the ropes is supposedly such a mess that nobody understands how is it even working. So basically someone ought to have to do something similar from scratch if something is done at all… Otherwise it can always be fixed with barnacle and grapple points.
rope script are MESS AS FUCK.
there is suppose to merge and remade entire map for the future.
I think you can make a rope script when u swing it from the future.
Whenever the map tries to load, it freezes, please fix this.
