Description

After the events of a-soldier-s-tale the Sven Co-op team sent a nuke through the big Race X portal to shut it down with the help of MarphyBlack's squad. Part of the explosion came back through the portal and there were no survivors. Whats worse is that the explosion created a reaction with the portal, disrupting space around it, capturing the ruins of Gamma labs and the sorrounding sectors into a harmonic reflux.
The entire area is now shifting in and out of Xen, and the team is rescued by Luther Johnson's portal device. There is no time to escape the reflux before the area is sent to Xen forever so you must join everyone on a race towards Sector D of Gamma labs where the scientists have set up a working Portal House device to get back to Earth. But it won't be easy.

Additional info

The Portal House map series had a lot of problems, and many servers avoided installing it for several reasons. I wanted to remedy that because it was enjoyable to most people. So I remastered the whole thing.
On top of huge amounts of bug fixes, and file organization, the old story which had default dialogue lines that made no sense at all is now a proper full fledged chapter with sense, themed around the post-Decay events that we never knew: the fates of Keller, Gina and Colette. Join them in this revamped adventure.

NOTE: I didn't bother to properly translate the motd text files much, but anyway nobody reads them

• Fixed the elevator problem.(Although not a perfect solution), the npcs will be pushed with a trigger push when elevator is activated.
• Players can't exploit shortcut points and pass through them
• Players that attempt to bug the tank by standing on it will die now

• Fixed weapon_vulcan ammo (weapon_vulcan ammo is ammo_highpowerblaster, not ammo_556)

• HEV modification room fixed. The glass has proper transparency and your suit doesnt get weaponstripped anymore
• Fixed the end button being able to be pushed behind a wall
• Fixed the first spawn

• Fixed the issue where all bosses could be attacked directly if players exploited jumping

• Barricaded all areas with func_wall_toggle to isolate them, and the func_wall_toggle will be removed when the area is activated. This stops players from outside the areas to jump and exploit the map entering a locked area

• Gave the elevator in map A1 infinite crush damage so Xonxt can die if he gets stuck in them.
• Gave all maps npckill 2, now they cannot be interrupted with friendly fire
• Added more ammo for the vulcan in map A2
• Added a failsafe for the HEV pickup in map A3
• Fixed the unused camera triggers in map A4, now they don't trigger again the shields and sprites creating problems
• Moved the Target sprites in map A4 to disappear when the objective is complete and target is destroyed
• Lowercased a few sprites that needed it
• Resguy FAILED. Added the missing skybox textures and included it in the res files
• Fixed wrong monster_ entities in squadmakers in all maps (babygargs and gargs)

• Standardized view model hands with Sven remappable hands, reducing custom weapon models to one set and shrinking folder size.
• Removed spaces from filenames and edited their references in the maps
• Upgraded all NPC models to HD versions, fixing bodygroups, textures, animations, and improving enemy display names and model references. And gave some a bit of spice with also a couple of extra custom models from the default folders.
• Eliminated redundant models and bad references, reorganized .gmr and deleted now useless.gsr files
• Moved all .gmr and .gsr files from the worldspawn to the .cfg files
• Fixed .cfg files to prevent forced map changes, removed timelimits
• Renamed maps with a _r suffix and also moved all files to a different folder, for compatibility with the original version.
• Lowercased all files
• Translated all texts to English, including the textures.
• Fixed critical bugs, including env_beam's StrikeTime overflow crash.
• Replaced floaters with the scripted version.
• Added missing files and removed unused files
• Enhanced gameplay with vote options for climax maps, improved climax start buttons to prevent trolling.
• Added the characters you play as in the original version (Edward Burton and Luther Johonson) as npc allies around the maps, and they still keep their important story cameos.
• Improved truck in map A2: Added a gus driver, enabled automatic movement (you can still move or stop it yourselves), made it repairable (much needed as it was too flimsy), has Edward Burton on the back to help you fend off enemies a bit, The back of the truck is not open (for visual credibility) and it has proper classification so enemies WILL attack it and it is friendly to players.
• Turned target_cdaudio into ambient_music, and added more music.
• Ensured constant HEV suit availability from the first map onwards. And replaced the suit you get afterwards with an in-universe lore suit upgrade and an easter-egg.
• Fixed some npcs classnames or custom model references because they were not using the right model or class
• Improved buildable sentry models
• Fixed an enemy zombie grunt that was friendly in map D, now it is properly an enemy
• Brought back some of the previous versions custom models: todesangst trooper, massn and construction zombie, they at least make a small cameo now
• With the addition of many hurts and clips noow players that try to go out of bounds or walk on the bottom of Xen alive will be dealt with extreme prejudice, and nobody will be able to survive even with scxpm
• Fixed some bugs with triggers not triggering the beginning of map A4 and the heavy door, counters and squadmakers for it (and the Tor). Also fixed the objective cameras with GMan and the Target sprite for the cleansuit scientist boss fight, and the Edward and Gman that never disappeared from the beginning.
• Made several friendly NPCs not solid during cutscenes or train rides and such because they could get the trains or players stuck
• Fixed on map A3 climax some rendermodes on the Xen puzzle that made levers invisible
• Fixed map triggers, improved cutscene animations and timings, and changed most of the dialogues.
• Ensured characters in cutscenes reappearing later as enemies or allies and be witness or executioner of their deaths or whatever happens
• Enhanced intelligent zombie grunts. Previously they were just reskinned grunts, but made no sense that Nihilanth was controlling them, so now they are fully modelled Xen modified crystal headcrabs, and Nihilanth controls them through the crystals.
• Removed globalnames and unused or outdated singleplayer entity leftovers
• Changed info_player_start to _deathmatch
• Added more walls on the A2 map so players didn't rush over the forcefields before deactivating them
• The holograms are all using texture mode instead of additive now (you no longer see the eyeballs floating ha) and they are now prisoner generics, so monsters don't attack them.
• Boosted friendly NPC health, specially the NPCs that reset the maps when they die. (The main defense objectives were not touched so you can still lose the maps if your base is destroyed)
• Stopped a global looping sounds in map B, C and D jesus, made them have long radius instead
• Fixed visible ammoboxes. (may have forgotten some)
• Cleaned up and fixed all weapon and npc scripts, and matched it with the models, sounds and sprites
• Added subtitles to most dialogues.
• Corrected audio issues, including stopping problematic looping sounds
• Cleaned up weapon and NPC scripts, aligned models, sounds, and sprites
• Revamped story elements and changed everything around it. Tried to keep most custom characters intact and worked around that. Iinstead of a story were npcs just say gibberish default lines that make no sense, they now mostly have custom dialogue, and changed around a few npcs as well, and also added a few more. The story now revolves around a post-Half-Life Decay theme.
• Regenerated .res files, and repacked into a .zip.

Thanks for the report, should be fixed now in v1e. The walls were being triggered by a leftover unused multimanager that I restored for the cameras to work. So the shields were working in reverse

This NPC sometimes gets stuck in the elevator door. The game cannot continue.(But … it takes a long time for the elevator door to kill him. )
And … I think the server needs to have mp_npckill "0".

I have gone and added a failsafe for the HEV trigger. I also added vulcan ammo although that probably was a mapper's decision to not have some. I added npckill 2 to all maps too so there is no friendly fire.

But about the NPC Xonxt, I cannot do much about that, platforms, elevators and doors are dangerous around npcs because thats goldsource engine for you.
Look, if the elevator doors do not have crush damage, they will get stuck even with players. softlocking the map.
Then the author made a super complex thing for something so simple as the elevator, it would be too much of a hassle to figure out and remake the entire thing. So I just added infinite damage to the doors so Xonxt can be crushed easily.

portal_house_a2_r can't stop alarm and can't pull down the brige

Problem happend in a lobby that need to pull down the brige to proceed.
After insert battery and pull down the switch, the alarm up and teleport some enemies. Clearing all eniems(include 2 small things) does't stop the alarm, and brige can't be pull down.
It blocked gameplay.

Thanks for the reports, this is serious. A bit of a mistake on my end, and also a bug to report (I hope its fixed someday) to the devs about game counters not working nicely. I will be fixing all squadmakers and adding failsafes to counters. Bear with me
