Description

1. Find a Way to escape.

+ Chainsaw V2

This is a revision of my chainsaw animations, released some time ago. Some of the animations have been only slightly tweaks, while others have been completely overwritten.
This time around, the chainsaw is always on, instead of being turned on just for the charge attack. In terms of damage, it made more sense to have it off during normal attacks, but I knew that many would want it on all the time regardless.

As always, all three standard arms are included.

This model was a TS 2.1 knife replacement :)

i got sick of not seeing new replacements for the crowbar so i converted this, since i had some more free time, and i compiled it with HD HL hands and skin.

this also works in any HL mod and HL.

• Fixed sc_propanic_mdl.txt and removed all not_precached models listed that are useless
• Fixed file path for shockwave.spr in many weapon_custom_effect(nuke1)
• Added spawnflags to trigger_camera to hide the hud in all of them

• Fixed major bug with the weaponbox soundlists making most sounds in the map completely mute. Enjoy all the sounds again!

Gameplay a bit too repetitive

I did find the gameplay a bit too repetitive. One big room with a lot of monsters, then another one. Worst part is that monsters respawn even in places we’ve already cleaned! Monsters and sound effects are taken from random games and mods which doesn’t make the end result consistent.

There is however a story that is nicely told, and the mapping looks great! Some parts are rather fun to play too, if we omit the fact it’s a bit too repetitive! Maybe it’s supposed to be played by at least 4 players so that we can progress through the map faster?

I like the level design of this map with good custom textures and atmosphere but the no sense spawn monsters every time ruin the gameplay and make the game a bit boring.

Yeah, there's definitely a newer, complete version with 2 maps. The author talks about releasing it on a YouTube playthrough a year ago. I guess I could round up all the files and upload it here. There's a bug with the final boss where it can get stuck near the semi-truck and prevent you from being able to kill it to end the map. The final battle is a bit much, but in general it's a better version that fixes some annoying things in the previous version.

Nice map with creepy atmosphere but it looks different from the screenshots.
Was a bit of struggle with 2 people and got stuck at the start of mission 3.

Love the use of pushables and a unique work to use teleporters.

I do that everytime i download some sound, and sound/trempler/gonarch folder is missing from zip file (i downloaded from all mirrors).

Looks pretty, and pretty is the only thing this map is good at. Awful level design, lack of tips, unreasonably silly AI for the doctor together make this 100MiB of disaster. Please, optimize tips for this map.
