Description
You are a scientist, who lived through the accident in Black Mesa. Your main mission is to evacuate Black Mesa Research Facility. Along the way you will meet other people who want to evacuate the complex, you will also have to face soldiers who come to "Clean" the whole complex, creatures of Xen, luckily along the way you will find weapons to deal with.

This is a port of the original Residual Life mod, I took the original maps and edited them with ripent to be compatible with Sven Co-op Multiplayer.
It contains the original files of the game, (maps, sounds, textures, etc.), Unfortunately most of the maps are short (Limitations of Half Life at that time), so try to wait for all players when entering, So everyone can enjoy this mod.
If you are going to install this mappack on your server, I recommend using FastDL, there are 28 maps among other files that total almost 100 MB of files, so far I did not find any bugs, but if you found some, please let me know I will fix it as soon as possible, the best thing to use ripent is that when editing a map does not require re-naming (v1, v2, etc) since I am only editing the entities, would not have problems replacing files in case of an update.

- rl00s fixed 'monster_human_grunt' stuck in wall error.
- rl01a added missing .res file.
- rl02 added more spawns and missing .res file.
- rl02k fixed Osprey stuck in roof.
- rl02i fixed button that opens a door that you are not supposed to in, yet.
- rl02m fixed Assassin stuck in floor.
- rl02i_2 fixed 'monster_bullchicken' stuck in wall error.
- rl02p fixed bad placed models folder.
- rl02l fixed vote map for tunnels route, before can't go in that way because .cfg nextmap cvar forces to rl02n.
- rl02c fixed 'monster_human_grunt' stuck in wall error.
- rl02t fixed teleport that break scientist sequence.
- rl02r fixed end, added a fancy view.
And a few more fixes that I really don't remember.
Know Issues
Some maps crash in Linux server, sadly I can't figure out the problem, but if I find the way to fix this, I'll update!.

Just to notify, residual life's public final version(1.9) has released. There's a tons of maps, and completed endings.
Because of the amount of bsps that exist in the campaign and the confusing naming convention used to name each bsp (they don't appear to follow any sort of rigorous order), migrating the updates will be extremely daunting… The bsps really ought to be merged for the SC port but thats impossible without the source maps.
If you or someone else has an actual list- in order, of the bsps, what the final bsp of this mappack is and what bsps are required to continue the campaign as consistent with the original- please share it, it is pretty much vital so as do things properly and not ruin the whole thing, since a ripent port is the only option at the moment or ever.
Unless we got a proper bsp list this mappack will remain outdated.
Just saw the pak file and there are 86 maps. along with bonus maps and story branches. 21 chapters I remember. I can prepare a list with accurate order (With all branches of course) Will try it as soon as possible.
In july 2018 residual life was continued on version 1.7 and released. Looks like its in a beta stage, but they have added a ton more of maps (40 maybe but I could be counting wrong) and most of them look very interesting!
This sven coop conversion is using the old version 1.0 from 2012 which has 30ish maps and is incomplete. Just so people know.
EDIT: Also, the team is working on version 1.8 as of 2019 (or so they say). Seems like a lot has been changed. I say wait until release and then report the thing :S

I tested all the maps and none of them crashed for me.
Maps are extremelly short and ends abruptly but the zombie assassin, the teleport part and the cutscenes are good surprises. Works as advertised.
Yes I said maps are shorts because they are designed to play singleplayer in Half-Life, and this is a port, not a remake or something.
