Description
"Restriction" is a 2-6 players walkthrough map highly inspired by the S.T.A.L.K.E.R. universe.
She can be played in Survival Mode or Normal Mode (default Survival)
You will have to find a way to escape from a series of old bunkers and laboratories. Dark secrets, puzzles, soldiers and inhuman creatures will try to stop you from reaching your goal.
This map offers you 10 parts to play with your friends. Using a whole new set of textures and models, you will be dragged into the atmosphere of the popular S.T.A.L.K.E.R. game franchise.
New scripts have been written to turn the Sven Co-op NPCs into something new. They now have new abilities proper to the original game(s).
Ex: Bloodsuckers can now become invisible to attack the players by surprise!

That level-design of maps is looking very great and also is atmospheric.
This is one of coolest STALKER themed maps in GoldSource engine games.
Translations and Multi-Language Plugin links not working.

Change log :
1. Add a lot of hint sprites to "not obvious" activatable objects (Like keycode in restriction_06)
2. Fixed all train controls (No longer need to crouch to activate the train)
3. Fix part 10 final arena's door won't open (Maybe uppercase targetname cause it)
4. Add ending text : Thank you for playing!
I finally got around to playing this mission today. Very good mission, excellent custom content.
The modified version with insurgency 2 weapons made it all the more immersive.
My only quibble was the odd mixture of Slavic and English signage, particularly some signage that was exclusively in English. (I say Slavic as I'm not certain if this map is set in Russia or Ukraine, and won't try to guess, despite one of the latter maps having what looks like a Ukrainian made locomotive engine.)

Except for a potential softlock at the fourth level, and a few "where the hell do we go" moments, it was a very solid experience. Good campaign to play with a few friends.
This mappack just oozes effort. The environments are beautiful, taking obvious influence from STALKER but blending that with Half-Life style labs & facilities (one area is basically On A Rail but STALKER styled)
Nice variety to the combat and gameplay, with some cool new
Angelscript monsters.
Difficult but doable for one player, which I very much appreciate.
Some parts get a little confusing, but I never felt like I needed a walkthrough.
I found this map frustrate many players who just join in the middle of gaming.
They usually get stuck in previous area which is no more thing to do.
And in the huge Dam map, they just don't know they have to go back to the starting area.
Maybe it need a "Do Not Enter" sprite to prevent joined players enter the old area.
(Like sc_tetris series)
And make a HUD system that telling people the last action every 30 secs.
Still a good map but just need more hints. Just not everyone can handle heavy path searching + door memorization + puzzle solving.
restriction04 often softlocks at the part where you need to rotate the track to break the boxes. The control panel to rotate the track won't do anything.
2025/02/13: this happens because "trainrot_activ" can be triggered repeatedly. Either add "Remove on fire" for that trigger_relay or try moving the long train again to unlock the controls.
Outerbeast and me with the help of some others from discord have updated this mappack to a somewhat fixed version v1.2. You can see the changelog for more details!
