Description
"Restriction" is a 2-6 players walkthrough map highly inspired by the S.T.A.L.K.E.R. universe.
She can be played in Survival Mode or Normal Mode (default Survival)
You will have to find a way to escape from a series of old bunkers and laboratories. Dark secrets, puzzles, soldiers and inhuman creatures will try to stop you from reaching your goal.
This map offers you 10 parts to play with your friends. Using a whole new set of textures and models, you will be dragged into the atmosphere of the popular S.T.A.L.K.E.R. game franchise.
New scripts have been written to turn the Sven Co-op NPCs into something new. They now have new abilities proper to the original game(s).
Ex: Bloodsuckers can now become invisible to attack the players by surprise!

This mappack just oozes effort. The environments are beautiful, taking obvious influence from STALKER but blending that with Half-Life style labs & facilities (one area is basically On A Rail but STALKER styled)
Nice variety to the combat and gameplay, with some cool new
Angelscript monsters.
Difficult but doable for one player, which I very much appreciate.
Some parts get a little confusing, but I never felt like I needed a walkthrough.
I found this map frustrate many players who just join in the middle of gaming.
They usually get stuck in previous area which is no more thing to do.
And in the huge Dam map, they just don't know they have to go back to the starting area.
Maybe it need a "Do Not Enter" sprite to prevent joined players enter the old area.
(Like sc_tetris series)
And make a HUD system that telling people the last action every 30 secs.
Still a good map but just need more hints. Just not everyone can handle heavy path searching + door memorization + puzzle solving.
restriction04 often softlocks at the part where you need to rotate the track to break the boxes. The control panel to rotate the track won't do anything.
Outerbeast and me with the help of some others from discord have updated this mappack to a somewhat fixed version v1.2. You can see the changelog for more details!
On the other hand there are quite a few files, some errors, some old ones. And some of them should be deleted. This is a message for the admins:

I was seeing that you added some things to the maps, if you do not change the name of the .bsp the people who have the old version of the map, will not be able to enter unless they delete the old version, since it shoots differ message:
Your map [maps/restriction01.bsp] differs from the server's.
Host_Error: Disconnected
I know it's late but I always try to suggest that the maps have all their files in lowercase, because some hosts (Fastdl) do not differentiate files with lower case than if they have it, so that the file is not downloaded quickly.
The maps need .res files or the players will not be able to download the content if they want to enter from a server.

I probably need a lot of reviews for making some adjustments
I really like this map series - I've heard mention of a v1.1 a few times in the forum thread but never saw anything of it. It had a couple of res file fixes and reworked lighting.
The 1.1 will be released today with a LOT of changes in the Sven Coop forum, but I can't upload it myself in the Database… Size limitation and I'm not the own of the account used to upload the 1.0 :p
It sends me to a page full of weird characters. No download to be found. Help?
