Description

Plot: You and your team are stuck on top of a commercial building. You must work your way through the building and to the Xen spiral. Your opposition will include assassins, grunts, controllers, alien grunts, alien slaves, sentry turrets, snarks, headcrabs, and various challenges/traps. ;)

Sidenote: This map was inspired by the map Rooftop Warfare (Original) by Brian 'Buddy' Mayberry (moc.tiabgarf|yddub#moc.tiabgarf|yddub) whose site and mailing adresss are dead (which prevented any contact between us). This map has been rebuilt from the ground up (literally).

GENERIC FIXES

Used the original maps as a base to ripent the .ent through import, bypassing the version mismatch errors in the maps ripented by newbspguy's current bug that the ripents of other people are having due to copy pasting brushes. Checked for errors and the maps work fine without version mismatch on servers.
Changed some env_messages to game_text
Changed env_model to item_generic
Changed monstermakers into squadmakers, with proper translated spawnflags
Fixed squadmakers without spawnflags or missing spawnflags, to have proper spawnflags
Changed info_player_start to info_player_deathmatch
Changed env_beam's negative StrikeTime value, to positive values (this could've caused crashes due to overflows)
Changed env_xenmakers that were spawning monsters, into squadmakers with proper external xenmaker entity
Replaced some of the Wayne's models that were identical to default (hwgrunt and hwgrunt_ld) with some other of the default custom hwgrunt models
Removed Wayne's missing soundlist files references in maps, and .gmr and .gsr as well
Gave many alien monsters spawned through squadmakers, a properly colored xenmaker effect
Replaced item_security and brush based item collectibles, with item_inventory
Used Wayne's ripents as a base. His guide arrows and wrong way signs have been replaced with more immersive things like lights, props, breakables with hud displaynames, enemies, etc… Except in maps that have a theme where it would be plausible to have direction signs.
Enemies with humongous amounts of health have been toned down a lot
Maps with low ammo at start have now extra weapons and ammo at spawn
game_text messages have been tweaked to be less intrusive, away from the crosshair, indicating the character name that speaks if intended, and sometimes giving them proper color that indicates ally or enemy.
Typos in game_texts and displaynames have been fixed. Usage of "\n" (new lines) in displaynames has been abolished
Fixed typos on entities making them not recognizable by the game
Fixed netnames when intended to be used as displaynames on old maps. Now you can see those npcs true names!
Regenerated .res files
Repacked with missing files into a .zip using resguy

Gave npcs their displaynames according to their netnames
Gave the scientist 30k hp so he does not softlock the map
Made the scientist invisible wall, truly invisible so bulletholes cant be seen
Fixed spawnflags on squadmakers
Fixed game text position to not be centered
Gave the shootable button a hud display with a breakable instead
Added a failsafe for the scientist door in case scientist dies or does not play the animation
Rooftop dudes are not unlimited, and will also stop spawning when you get to the other building (without cheating)
Moved the trigger hurt on the street to feel more like you touch the ground
Added more crush damage to what did have it, so it crushes those xp modders too
Gave xenmakers with colors to many squadmakers
Squadmakers that spawned ammo and weapons now spawn only one of them, since those entities respawn
Gave the xen area traps some sounds
Gave the xen area glow stuff some more spice and fun by making them explosive
Reduced explosion damage of some of the xen traps, because they would go through walls
Added thunder sounds to the lightnings that appear
