Description

Sectore Levels is a map type run/defend/survival, where you and your teammates must complete certain objectives in order to reach Level 5 and get out, currently it has 2 levels, but I will add the others soon.

Additional info

• This map is designed for exactly 2 players, maybe more players can help.
• This is the full version 1 & 2.

NOTE: Some models/sounds are modifications, I got them somewhere, I don't remember the exact location, but if I remember I'll add them in the credits.

Changelog

Original (english translation):

+ V2 - April 2, 2023 (by Garompa)

• Fixed missing textures due to wrong wad name in the worldspawn entity
• Removed extra wad file being precached in worldspawn but was not used
• Fixed wrong rendermodes on transparency textures, they do not glow in the dark anymore
• Moved turrets away from the surfaces a bit to stop their sounds from bugging and being silent
• Fixed models/angel_mdl/sci_ev1.mdl textures, the UV map was extremely displaced
• Lowercased all files and folders and their name references inside the map ent list
• Converted all custom music and sounds to .ogg for a smaller file size (except the .mod files which are super tiny)
• Translated all game_text from spanish to english
• Moved all centered game_text positions away from the crosshair
• Gave some game_texts different colors depending on the character speaking and situations
• Gave all character dialogue game_texts an actual voice. Sometimes the npcs speak through scripted_sentences and sometimes they are ambient_generics depending on the situation (and depending on engine bugs)
• Changed music ambient_generics to ambient_music (now underwater music doesn't muffle)
• Gave bombs a placement sounds
• Gave items pickup sounds
• Cameras now make player invincible
• Restored unused gman line during the alien crystal bombs part
• Restored nihilanth quotes with global sound, and english default files
• Turned env_xenmakers into squadmakers and gave them appropiate xenmaker effects and xen/racex green/pink colors accordingly
• Repacked with resguy, removed unused files and added missing ones

• Known bugs: The voice warning about dangers during the nihilanth fight may overlap sometimes. This happens because there is no sound queue system in the game and creating one would be too complex for just a quick ripent translation and I'm lazy.

both sc_defend_base3a and sectore_level_1\2 use the same Angel.wad which both differ in files sizes, which is most likely will end up in missing texures. this is bad!
