Space2
Author | Richman |
Date of release | Final - ~2009 |
.bsp filename | sc_space2 |
Description
This map takes place on a space station orbiting a planet. A minimum of 2 players are required to complete the objectives. Use your wits (and weapons) to secure the station and ascend!!!
Generally, I wouldn't recommend more than 4 players as the space could get cramped.
NOTE: I, Ratman, am not the author. I downloaded this from a server years ago and felt that it was too good to keep for myself. A Google search returns a single forum thread on a German site in 2009 indicating the author to be Richman. It appears that this was intended to be part of a multi-map campaign, but the other parts were never made. If the author has any problems with this being uploaded here, I have no problem with them removing it.
Additional info
TIPS: The boss cannot be killed by conventional weapons. A sacrifice must be made…

Don't hesitate to upload any more maps you (or anyone) have locally. I don't want them to be lost forever like this one almost was.
I don't care if the maps are shitty. If a map was created/converted for Sven Co-op then it belongs here. If low-quality maps annoy the mods then the maps can be hidden away in a map-pack page until there's a better way to filter them.
Been playing Sven since the beginning. Jesus. 20 years. Been moving my Sven folder from hard drive to hard drive. I've got so much, but so much of it is comprised of incomplete maps, many just single rooms that were clearly just for testing purposes. But every once in a while I get bored and start randomly picking maps with names I don't recognize to see if I can find a diamond in the rough. Hopefully I can unearth some more generally playable ones soon.
I'm sure there are more in there somewhere. I recently found some more old installs to search through, too. Probably best if this process were scripted by comparing file hashes or something. There's just too many to do by memory.
Whoa, a missing Richman map. Nice, thanks for posting!
