Description

You fight hordes of monsters in areas that have no link to the game Starcraft.

+ Fix v2 - December 14, 2022 (by Garompa)

• Removed bloat text from worldspawn
• Changed info_player_start to info_player_deathmatch
• Fixed intro door not opening: Removed multisource (rly?), and made all the 4 grunts trigger a 3 health counter on death which opens the door through the use of a single fire relay. Also added a 60 second failsafe with another relay.
• Added damage to some func_door_rotatings
• Added the monster's can't flag to all doors
• Added a couple more spawn points

A good little basic map

Although very simple, and quite short, it's actually quite fun for 10 minutes!

Something in the game code changed since 2001, I think, so that the teleporter in the middle of the map broke, ruining the map. I have fixed it, made the ending less abrupt and added some health and armor to spawn since there was none anywhere.
I have uploaded the map as starcraft_FIXED.rar, listed using the Download button above.

• For a mission 'briefing', use the radio in the small arena just after spawn, it's in front of you by the ammo and MP5.
• For the 'mincer' door, there's a pushable crate in the area with the nuclear goo puddle, you'll see it below you if you ride the little kart-things!
• The big gun is used by standing in the well at the top of the yellow box, and facing forward at the front edge - think tram controls.
• If you get stuck after the teleporter, try shooting at things…
