Subject: Briefing - CMD|PRI=1&PAGE=1&ENCRYPT=1
The United States Government has recently gained possession of an object that could vastly benefit our cause. Our operatives have informed us of an opposing alien faction that has learned of the object's existence, and is planning a major assault on the installation where it is held.
As most of our associates are currently… occupied, we must rely on stealth (and the distraction caused by the rebel faction's attack). Your team will be deployed as close to the objective as possible, shortly before the enemy's assault is expected. You are to avoid attention, secure the objective, and await extraction. Other information you will need is attached. You must be in the deployment area by 14:26:00.

This map should get a remake and make part 3.
After I saw the toonrun reworked , this guy should follow it.
Personally, I think Sven predated cinematic set pieces in his SC map series years before the CoD series overused them to attract all the hype! In short, Activision owes Sven Viking billions.
While the looks are pretty basic, I've always admired this map series' very creative battles and puzzles, complex entity work and the use of an actual in-game story (something rarely seen in other maps).
I've often wondered if these maps always contained all these elements or whether the maps were heavily updated throughout the years, because compared to most early SC maps, these two stand out in ways I can't describe.
The ways these maps must have shaped future SC maps is pretty interesting to think about. How many maps would have made use of Double Buttons if they hadn't seen it in Svencoop1 first? :)
