Description

You are a team of mercenaries exploring an ancient tomb looking for a team of archeologists reported missing. You don't see them anywhere, but you do see plenty of horrible monsters, and now you must fight for your life.

The individual map MOTDs have much more plot information for reading in-game. This is just a quick intro of the map.

Additional info

• 4-6 players recommended.
• This isn't a Half-Life themed map - there are no HEV or health stations. To replenish armor, you can pick up armor vests that will give 100ap. Medkits will heal you 50hp.
• Portals in this map use an anti-telefrag mechanism that will reverse the the effect of telefragging. The portal will change appearance when a player enters so to show that it's unsafe to enter. After 2 seconds the portal will change back into the original form.

This adds many improvements, such as better lighting, map tweaks and some bug fixes.

• Maps are named with the version number so to eliminate the problem with servers and clients having different versions.
• Improved the lighting by increasing light entity brightness and added more light fixtures.
• Reduced Gargantua's health from 2,500 to 2,000.
• Gonomes hatched from eggs will be baby Gonomes, which will use the Licker model from the Resident Evil maps. They will have 100 health.
• Blood Gonomes will use the Archville model from the Resident Evil maps.
• Fixed bugs:
  • One of the mounds that rose and spawned a Gonome in the second map boss fight sometimes stayed, so the Gonome couldn't be killed.
  • The Door unlocking sound didn't play after completing the puzzle in the beginning of the second map.
• Updated first map:
  • Significant changes to corridor layout to simplify routes and shorten travel times from spawn.
  • Added several shortcut corridors and doors to shut off areas to help prevent players getting confused.
  • Slightly increased opacity of trap light beams as they were too faint.
  • Changed sliding floor over slime pit obstacle to be harder.
  • Retextured the room below spawn to give it a more alien look and start off the theme that the tomb isn't what it appears to be. Players can also jump through the holes in the door to escape the explosion.
  • Spaced out tents in the chamber of the first and second maps so players won't get stuck between them.
  • Simplified wall lights due to having crashes and too many brush models error. Spikes on metal doors also had to be removed.
• Updated second map:

Added another shortcut in the broken corridor.

• Updated third map:
  • Increased height of the barricade in the forth puzzle to try to prevent players jumping over it because they're not supposed to.
  • Removed some light poles in the forth puzzle caverns so they'll less likely block players during combat.
  • Added a few Barnacle traps to the forth puzzle caverns.
• Updated forth map:
  • Redid the bridges across the lava in the main chamber. They will slide out from the centre island.
• Updated fifth map:
  • Changed the chamber with Pit Drones - added more lights and replaced the somewhat generic deadly fall into blackness with a slime pit.
  • The pillar going up to the Garg fight will have continuous ladders on all sides, because having ladders on 2 sides and having to switch part way through was a stupid idea. It was an arbitrary bottleneck and a can be a big source of annoyance and increases the chances of blocking.
  • Added a scanning effect before the garg fight after the Pit Drones have been killed. An alarm will sound and the Gargs will be released. This goes along the theme where the truth of the tomb is revealed to be much more advanced than it appears to be - and it looks cool ;)
  • Removed middle column of lights in the elevator shaft to improve FPS.
  • Increased the wait time of the elevator in the fifth map to allow players who were held up to be able to catch it, added sound effects to pass the time and indicate that something will happen.
  • Added a big door near the top of the elevator shaft, so it would both add a visual effect and will also be closed in the sixth map, so I can get rid of most of the shaft below, improving FPS.
• Updated sixth map:

Redesigned the final boss chamber due to unfixable problems with the lava. Retextured it to give a more alien look.
* Added an extra passage to the main chamber next to the current one, so players can get in slightly easier without getting mowed down by the boss attack because of the bottleneck caused by having one passage.
* Added a big hole in the middle of the main chamber floor covered by a walkable forcefield. But will be deactivated when the boss is killed.

• Many other tweaks, fixes and optimizations done to maps.

This update fixes several problems and adds some new content in the Tomb of Death map pack. The full list of changes are:

Tweaked monster damage settings to be more challenging:

• Lowered Gonome's health from 400 to 300.
• Lowered Gargantua's health from 3000 to 2500.
• Gonome's slash and bite attacks will be lethal to anyone without 100% health and armour. Acid throw damage has been increased too.
• Increased Pit Drone's spike damage.
• Big Momma's mortar and slash attacks are lethal.
• The Gargantua's stomp attack is lethal.
• Slightly increased final boss' laser damage.

Fixed bugs:

• The water at the bottom of the long drop in the second map wasn't working properly, resulting in players falling to their deaths.
• The blown out door in the shortcut room of the first map will not appear full-bright, the same for the rope ladder.
• Redid the spinning disks trap of the second puzzle in the third map, because it wasn't working properly before.
• The diamond lure trap in the second map now works properly, it is a re-triggerable trap.
• Anti-telefrag portals are far less likely to kill the person entering if they went in at the edge of the portal.

Updated maps:

• Replaced 'clean' brick texture with a more gritty one.
• Added more sound effects to several areas.
• Replaced some textures with random tiling types.
• Made trap trip-lights much fainter - almost invisible.
• Shortened several corridors in the first map.
• Fixed not being able to get in the tents for ammo in the second map.
• Added a shortcut to the boss chamber in the second map.
• Added a hint to solve the first puzzle in the third map.
• Added more detail to the big skull in the second, third and forth maps.
• Redid the third puzzle in the third map.
• Added more Gonomes in the forth puzzle of the third map, changed the boss chamber to open only after ALL of the Gonomes have been killed.
• Added a group of Gonomes in the second corridor of the forth map.
• Changed elevator behaviour to prevent a potential problem where if the players somehow die while it is descending, the map can't be finished because it only goes once. It will now keep going on a loop.
• Simplified the architecture in the final boss' chamber to improve FPS.
• Improved boss fight by adding more effects and making it clearer on how to defeat it, by giving it a forcefield and laughing when hit, and making pain sounds on getting hit when the forcefield is deactivated.
• Reduced the number of gibs created when the boss dies to ease CPU load.
• Reduced the amount of ammo entities in the sixth map.
• Added a group of Gonomes and Pit Drones in the sixth map.
• Fixed oversight where the boss' vulnerable orb had only 10hp, it now has 1,000hp.
• Several other small improvements, fixes and optimizations done to maps.

SC 5.24's Pushable bug fixed file download

Sven Co-op 5.24 patch has changed func_pushable's climb range.

Part 4 has a small area you have to push the red square box into a hole but it got block by 5 pillars, cause softlock.

I made a hotfix for Part4's softlock bug.

Last map doesnt end. When the APC destroys the wall and rescue comes, the grunts get stuck between a little piece of rock wall and the APC and never go around their waypoints so it doesnt trigger the end.

Hate to be that guy, but there was just 1 minor flaw I found :). There's a teleport no longer working, where you can find a sniper rifle on I think the second level.

looks good and i like the theme and i love traps exept if the traps are like in adams_dungeon map its gay but this looks like the traps are made better and overall this is awsome :)
