Description

This map is a linear map with monsters and some human grunts, set in a complex deep under the frosty crust of the moon Triton orbiting Neptune.

I am one of a group of top secret cybernetisized marines that has just been woken from a deep cryogenic freeze. Deep this barren moon's icy core, I have lied brain dead and what they call "asleep" for more then 70 years. I am the ultimate weapon. I am a soldier for the UEC (United Earth Core) defending the Earth, if that still exists, from its most deadliest of hostile threats. Mostly alien species and other genetically altered/cyberized hybrids life myself. We are to… "special" to compare at all to a normal soldier. The reason you may ask yourself that we have been in sleep for so long? Surely the human race has not lost its edge of violence, rot, and decay?

Of course not. But most of the governments of Earth are smart enough not to put us into use except when extreme prejudice is needed, and even then we are not usually called upon for fear of us growing out of control. Even when the governments fall on top of each other like domino's, there are still people smart enough to know that its preferable to band together to seal away people… no… things like us, until the time arises for need for "people", like us. We are brutal, savage. But it's not like we don't know what we are doing, we were programmed this way by our fathers we can't fight who we are. Some have tried and they take off in giant light ships and we haven't heard from them since. Any sane sentient would like to be at least 90 light years away from us to feel comfortable.

But something has awoken us. And there are literally hundreds of safe guards in place to prevent accidental resuscitation… Someone.. or something has woken us to fight for something… What ever it is, we will soon find out. Come brothers and sisters, let us see what this new world hath brought us and let the world that made us cry for mercy when it learns that we have awoken again to take back what was once ours.

Additional info

• There is a laser beam about half way through the map that will gib you if you don't have 100% HEV and 100% health.
• There is a trigger that sets the 2nd set of info_player_deathmatch respawn points so once you get through the beam and hit that trigger then 95% of the time you will respawn AFTER the beam of death and be fine. For some reason 5% of the time you respawn at the old spawn point.
• The map doesn't have a proper ending yet. It's over once you reach the rusty vents and kill the zombies.

Although this map looks ok visually, it's lack of ending and incomplete areas should keep it out of public play.
