Additional info
Quick Sven Co-op conversion of the mod U-Life for Half-Life by skaarj found here.
This map series is heavily inspired in the first Unreal game's first levels, using ported textures and sounds all over, a true work of art.
Big thanks to glitchenco for his map sc-unreal and all the porting of the enemies, otherwise this would look very ugly and out of place with xen enemies.
The last map will attempt to changelevel to sc_unreal, but will end the map if its not found on the server.
Additional credits
- Garompa (conversion)
- Reuniclus (testing and fixing)
- glitchenco (sc-unreal npcs and weapons)
- 3037 (unreal weapons, found here)
- Primeval (Flightcastle music remix)
- meryllia (bug report and testing)

ulife_2 lags horrendously, we were seeing a lot of message and datagram overflows in the console logs whilst playing this
e.g.
We tested the maps and it didn't lag one bit for either of us, something like this we would've seen it.
I've never seen that error before. Taking a look searching the web it seems everyone reports it as an issue with amxmod or similar plugins, some rehlds, or even server config files and .ini files, but nobody reports it as an issue with the map itself because it seems its something about the ping and internet connection
Both ulife_1 and ulife_3 are fine, it just seems to be the second map. If I disable every plugin on the server it still persists so I'm not convinced it's related to any server customisations.
The map does appear to work just fine in a listen server however, so perhaps whatever the issue is it is limited to dedi servers.
mmm ok i will run some tests and check the map
EDIT: OK fixed, env beams and their problems, thanks for the test!
