Description

Congratulations! You have been selected as a finalist on "Kill or Be Killed," the Ultimate Arena Combat Gameshow! You'll team up with contestants from all over the world as you compete for tons of cash, fabulous prizes, and the ultimate prize: Your Life!

And the best part is, you're already enrolled! All you have to do is click Okay!

This map is all about fast action. Players move at twice the normal speed, respawn quickly, and can get from the spawn area back into the fight in as little as two seconds. Monsters respawn constantly, and are a mix of standard HL and Op4 enemies.

+ alpha 1

This is a very early alpha. The combat is only 6 minutes long at this point. It's pretty fun in Single-player, but I need someone with a server to help me test it in Multiplayer. Criticism is strongly encouraged, but especially help me figure out how this thing plays with multiple players on a server.

+ alpha 2

• Adjusted the spawn door triggers and push entities to make it harder to cheat.
• Added a much-needed monster_clip.
• Made the first battle longer.
• Added experimental "Challenge Bosses" to the first battle.
• Adjusted the mix of monsters in each phase of the battle, based on observed behavior during playtesting. New runtime: about 14 minutes.

+ alpha 3

• Added a scoreboard and some sounds, which was a LOT of trouble but it was SO worth it!
• Refactored the spawning system to allow for greater variety of enemies in one fight; as a side-effect, it also repopulates the map slightly faster and distributes enemy types more evenly.
• Combined the second and third fights into one big one.
• Added cash. Yes, cash. Play it and find out.

..from WarpZone may I add :) Simple map that throws some good old fashioned kill everything action at you, with the bonus system for added enjoyment. Good stuff!

This map is Humans vs Aliens on steroids, speed, and cocaine… the fast deathmatch action make it a fantastic map. You also have to keep collecting money from the middle.

Must be tried!
