Map review of Alien Battle

Alien Battle is a tiny little infinite-wave vortigaunt fight in a tiny little fort map. The fort looks like something like a ruins, but it has cover in a lot of the right places. Atop desert dunes ahead of the base, vortigaunts spawn 3-4 at a time, On the front battlement of the fort there is a mounted gun which can instagib the vortigaunts and is perfectly lined up with how they spawn in. You can easily kill all of them immediately when they spawn using this gun.
There's not much else to this map. The brushwork is pretty spartan, and there's so little on display that there's really no way to assess the texture or lighting work. Everything that's there is fine, I guess. That said, for a Sven Co-op map, you can lock yourself into easy perpetual success completely by yourself using just that mounted turret.
Overall, if you're looking for a horde base defense map for a server or to play with friends, there's probably better. This is a really half-baked map, though the description here would fool you into thinking otherwise. It has very little to show for itself and what's there is easy to master to the point of obsolescence.
Pros:
- I like the look of the mounted gun
- It's not impossible to fight these vortigaunts
Cons:
- No weapons except MP5
- Vortigaunts so easy to suppress with one person it makes the map pointless
- Incredibly nondescript and half-baked
