The map offers a fantastic co-op experience for you and your friends. The experience will never be exactly the same from run to run, from a seemingly nonchalant jaunt through the maintenance corridors of black mesa (With the occasional headcrab zombie) to a terrifying, almost certain death experience. The design of the map itself is initially confusing, but after some investigation, the layout isn't so confusing that it's impossible to navigate (Providing so long you're able to think and breathe at the same time.
I would say this is definitely the seven co-op of dark souls levels.
Pros:
- Very good thematically (executed in such a way that if I didn't know better I would say it was a valve map)
- The fact that there's three different classes to start from gives diversity of playstyle throughout the map changing the experience based on what you start as.
- Procedural enemy generation and different difficulties also provide for a variaty of playthroughs meaning that in general no two runs will be the same.
- Pit drones.
Cons:
- Flashlight ran out of battery and I fell down a hole. -0.1.
- If you cannot navigate to the local walmart map may be confusing for you.
- Pit drones.
- Scottish
