Map review of Abandoned

I was expecting more quality of a 4.1/5 rated map.
I have found different documents and I could not get any.
Players recommended: 4-8 … indeed. Playing it with only 2 players is a nightmare, bullet sponge enemies. Besides, some hostiles spawn in massive quantities with no sound nor signal so the player can know where they are.
Repair the turrets? how? no explanation
Only 1% story, 4% puzles. 95% of brainless action.

Pros:

Some new enemies are cool

Cons:

The Keycard ubications are nonsense.
Laser fence needs more than 1 grenade to be destroyed and no sound nor visual effect is showed so the user can know that he is causing damage to the machine.
The few story texts are shown in any action or chaotic situation.
I could not finish the map because when I entered one of the last doors after the text message "it would be pointless to fight this garg..." they killed me and I respawned in the previous checkpoint. When I went to the same door, it was closed without any option to open it.
