BOMS
The BOMS stamp, made by Hezus, is used on a map's release thread at the SC Forums when it's moved to the Best of Map Showcase. A modified version by JPolito can be found here. Its appearance is randomly chosen each time it is viewed.
BOMS (Best of Map Showcase) is a special distinction awarded to the best community-made Sven Co-op maps. It is decided on and given by the mapping staff at the Sven Co-op Forums. A BOMS map is sure to offer superior gameplay, excellent visuals, some originality, and an all-around great co-op experience. Be aware that the standards for becoming a BOMS map today are much higher than they were years ago.
